Decorative Envelopes

Learn to make decorative envelopes for any occasion. This video will show you how to make the envelope. It will show you two decorative designs.

Materials:

Envelope             Design 1-Hangable                    Design 2-Quilling

paper                        hole-puncher                                   thumbtack   

glue                                             string                                                           card-stock

ruler                           decorations                                      paint   

pencil

Envelope Steps: 

• Cut a square that measures 5.5 inches on all sides.

• Then you will turn your square and it will be a diamond fold the diamond in half. 

             -Only press the middle, and press lightly. 

             -Turn it and fold it again. Press lightly.

• Now you will fold one of the corners towards the middle, but you will be  passing the middle mark a tad. 

             -Do this on 3 sides

• Glue the sides. Make sure you get those corners.

•  Voila!! You have an envelope.

Design 1- Hangable: 

• Measure and cut a rectangular shape that will be 6.5 x 4.5 inches.
• Paste the envelope right in the middle punch a hole on the top and tie the string. 
• Decorate how ever you want. 
• Voila!! Easy and Thoughtful. 

Design 2- Quilling: 

• Create a quilling design.
• To make the flower you will measure 7 strips of card-stock measuring 1/2 cm.
• Use the thumbtack to help you begin to roll them. 
• Once rolled press down on them lightly let them unwind a bit and pinch both edges then glue them in place.
• For the yellow do not pinch the sides leave them circular let unwind a bit and glue in place. 
• Paint the stem and leaves.
• Voila!! You know the quilling method.
