What's your face shape?

Determining your face can help you find a perfect hair cut, what glasses look best on you, what bangs work best with you, Etc

Materials: 
Tape measure
Mirror
Pen & Paper

Dimensions:
*Note that not every dimension fits every face. Also, that face dimensions can change.
All the dimensions would be measured in inches.
Step One:
Look in the mirror and inspect the features on your face, and ask yourself these questions. 

  • Is your chin round, square or pointed?
  • Is your jaw round, square or pointed?
  • Pull your hair back, Is your hairline narrow or wide?
  • What is the widest part of your face cheekbones, forehead, jaw, or all equal?
  • What is the length of your your face long, short, or average?

Step Two:
Measure the length of your face. From the top of your headline to the tip of your chin crossing your nose.


Step Three:
Measure the width of your face.  Smile and measure from one cheekbone to the other, crossing the bridge of the nose.


Step Four:
Measure the width of your forehead. Measuring the widest part of the forehead from one temple to the other, above the eyebrows. 


Step Five:
Measuring the width of the chin. Measuring the widest part of the chin. Under the bottom of the lip towards the jaw on both sides.
